I’ve spent more than a decade learning when to take the photograph... and when to get out of the way.

 

I’m Lauren, photographer and founder of Lauren Nicole Imagery. I started in a high school darkroom, followed photography through art school and nearly a decade of teaching, and eventually built a career documenting people and the lives they’re creating.

 

More than 300 weddings later, I’m less interested in perfect photographs than honest ones. The laugh that happened between poses. The people losing their minds on the dance floor. The tiny things you didn’t realize you’d want to remember.

 

These days, I take on fewer commissions and choose them intentionally. I photograph weddings, people, and places throughout St. Louis and wherever a good story takes me.
